Patricia Richardson

  Patricia Castle Richardson, born on 23rd February 1951 Patricia Castle Richardson was born on 23 February 1951. She is an American actress. She is most well-known for her portrayal of Jill Taylor on ABC's sitcom Home Improvement. For this role , she was nominated twice for the Golden Globe Award and twice for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her performance on Ulee's Gold (1997).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Richardson was a student at multiple schools, She attended several schools, including Holton-Arms School and Hockaday School. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1972. There she was close and close to Stephen Tobolowsky and Beth Henley. Tobolowsky had been originally scheduled to appear on Home Improvement's cast, but was unable to fulfill other commitments. Tobolowsky offered Home Improvement producers that Richardson be considered as a possible candidate for Jill Taylor's role following the fact that Frances Fisher was rejected.
